Introduction
|
|
|
What
a delight it was to welcome these women into my home. They were
more forthright than I anticipated and despite the language
barrier our week was full of learning and laughter. I will remember
them fondly and hope some day for a reunion in their country
or mine.

The Overnight
|
All
the participating artists from Japan and Wisconsin gathered
at the Sunset Bay Resort on Lake Delton for an overnight event
which included a boat ride through the Wisconsin Dells and a
dinner at the Ishnala Lodge on Mirror Lake.

|
|
The
exhibitions were held at three venues around the state of Wisconsin;
The Neville Museum of Brown County in Green Bay, The Porter
Butts Gallery at the University of Wisconsin's Memorial Union
in Madison, and the West Bend Museum of Fine Art in West Bend.

Kinukoromo
|
The
Kinukoromo Style Show was produced in both Green Bay and Madison.
However these images were taken in Green Bay which is where
the first show took place.

WP&S
member, Chuck Bauer, generously offered his home as the location
for our Farewell Party. What luck that his partner is an avid
collector of antique quilts.
