The Party

Our last evening together we all gathered at Chuck Bauer and Chuck Beckwith's home where they graciously provided a full bar for the participants. The Chinese take-out dinner was provided by the South Central Chapter of WP&S and all members were invited to participate.

The Quilts

Hisako and Toshiko share the beauty of antique quilts.

Host Chuck Beckwith shares his Amish crib quilts with guests. This black and blue color combination was one of Hisako's favorites.

Hisako admires this magnificent crazy pathwork quilt.

Host Chuck Bauer happily shows off an antique quilt for Hisako.

And the quilts kept coming much to Hisako's delight.

Chuck Bauer is almost as happy to show off this amazing strip patchwork quilt as Hisako is to see it. She literally jumped for joy.

Hisako and another guest admire this lovely pink and white antique quilt.

Hisako and Toshiko take a closer look at the hand stitching.

Taketsune Kubota enjoys the beauty of obis from the collection of Chuck Beckwith.
