The juxtaposition of these disassembled organic tulip parts lying upon a meticulously woven wicker basket was what inspired me to paint Tulip Parts on Wicker. Equally appealing were the color variations and rhythm of the weave, as well as the tulip leaf patterns. This painting is matted in white and is framed in gold metal.
