The gyroscope
is created by combining 12 individually folded 3" squares
of paper. The construction is simple yet mystifying and and
labor intensive. Each one-of-a-kind ornament takes about an
hour to create using assorted celestial colors and papers
-- including foil -- and is 4 1/4" high (shown slightly
smaller than actual size).
