Starburst is a work of art depicting a starry kaleidescope pattern in folded paper. Watercolor and origami were applied to museum board. Then it was embellished with colored pencil. It was inspired by blue and white porcelain patterns. The piece is matted in white and framed in a canvas depth maple frame (shadow box style) to enhance it's three-dimensional quality.
