Flower basket IV is the fourth in a series of works which involves mixed media, and initially opened this artist to the possibility of taking the faux experience of dimension to a real dimensional quality. It was created by cutting up two watercolor works on paper - one a wash of brown pigment, the other a painting of irises - then weaving them together. Finishing touches were added with colored pencil. It is matted in white and framed in gold metal.
