Blooming Paper IV is another work in a series which plays with the idea of paper as retaining the alive, organic quality of the trees from which it is derived. Multiple pieces of folded paper, some stamped with gold ink, have been applied to a watercolor background reminiscent of autumn leaf textures. It is framed in a white mat and a canvas-depth gold metal frame to enhance it's three dimensional quality.
