Arrows of Artemis is a mixed media painting consisting of paper collage and colored pencil on watercolor. The joy of this painting, was in freely applying various watercolor pigments in the background to create a nebulous cloudy effect. Attempts to tightly control what watercolor paints will do is as futile as trying to grasp the wind in your hands. One must learn to let go at times. So I just painted and then waited to see how the pigments and water would dance together. The piece is matted in white and framed in silver metal.
