Following a commission by an interior designer for a quilt painting to add to her kitchen display in the Kohler Company's Wisconsin showroom, I continued to paint a large series of tromp l'oeil (fool-the-eye) quilts. Since I had done hand stitched quilting in the past, the transition to painting one was a pleasant leap. Indian Puzzle has been purchased by Northwestern Mutual Life for their Executive Collection.
