This pin is a colored pencil drawing by the artist which has been mounted to a stiff paper, coated several times with clear acrylic and then mounted to the pin backing. A traditional southwestern color palette of peaches, browns and turquoise has been used with added touches of gold pencil and metal beads. Bone, shell, glass, and man-made beads are also included.
