These earrings are made with Akins' own image -- reproduced sections of her watercolor painting, Brown Basket. The prints are glued to wooden spools. Then it's protected with two to three coats of clear acrylic. The beads are wood, bone, glass, and metal. All dangle from yellow metal ball and loop posts.
