These earrings are made with Akins' own image -- reproduced sections from her original pencil drawing, Blackbird Call. The prints are glued to front sides of a heavy, stiff paper. It's protected with two to three coats of clear acrylic and mounted to metal posts. The beads are made of glass, wood, and brass. Size:
